Lacy used to be aweful about trying to run out the front door when opened. I always picked her up anytime I had to open the door. She knows now that she's not supposed to go out there..but I'm still real careful with her. I wouldn't just leave the door wide open or anything like that. I think it's just going to take some time and training to keep your baby from that. But I would definitely pick him up when you answer the door or have a gate or something. Running into traffic is so dangerous and he could get ran over
