You guys are too funny!
We didn't have any "alone time" for the first 4 months that we had Syd b/c she would bark. Luckily she doesn't sleep in bed with us and sleeps in her crate instead. Now that she is sleeping through the night...we can do whatever we want in the evening after we put her to bed b/c she is soooo tired that she could sleep through the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.
However...the morning is a WHOLE different story. Heaven forbid we try anything because as soon as she hears a sound...she's screaming! "Hey you jerks...I know you're awake...I can hear you...get me out of this crate...I wanna play." Sigh...so much for Sunday mornings!
