If you're doing dry, I would go with Wellness. If you feed canned, I would go with Merrick. Both are great foods. You could even do a mix of Wellness Dry with some Merrick Canned. Lacy is on a Raw diet (natures variety), but one of my cats eats Merrick canned food (I buy the variety pack). My other cat is on Nature's Variety Canned RAbbit because she has allergies and so I don't vary her food.
