I took Kaya to the vet 2 weeks ago to get her rabies shot and got her microchipped. I'm getting her vaccines done separately because apparently she has had reactions in the past. (that is also recommended for small dogs.) They also did an exam at that time.
So today I took her in for her distemper and it cost $38.50!
I asked why it was so expensive and they said cause it included the yearly exam. (which she had 2 weeks ago.
) They wouldn't take off any money for the second exam.
Can you believe what a rip off that is? I'm going to check around and see if all vets are that expensive in this area. The vaccine must cost them about 20 cents.
Just so frustrating!
