You have all been so helpful to Lita and Sweet Pea I thought I might beg for some help. My little Izzie is only 12 weeks and I am 'considering' entering her in a puppy class in Aug. She will just be over the 3-6mo limit, so I think I might have to put her in the 6-9mo class (I emailed IABCA to see what they say). Anyway...I put her show leash on her tonight and she went CRAZY . I have put it on her before but just let her pull it around and she seems annoyed but when I finally picked it up WWAAAHHHH. So I just let her be. I have only had her since Fri and I don't want to traumatize her. I did get some treats and say 'look' and treat her when she did.
Any suggestions?? Showing looks like fun...but....
I guess it's just harder when you have no real clue what you are doing or if it is right
