I've had a similar situation many times when Phoebi was younger. She would run out the door when we opened it and if someone happened to be walking by she would go "greet" them.

I have to say it took me a few times to realize how annoying that must be for the person walking their own leashed dog. Not to mention....who knew if their dog was friendly!

So....I'm not condoning her nasty attitude but I can understand. She should have been kind enough to accept your apologies and at least say thank you!
