I used to work as a CNA at a dialysis clinic and we leave the BP cuff on them the whole time they're hooked up to the machine & the cuff automatically takes their BP every 15 minutes. We'd then make them stay around for at least 15 minutes after being taken of the machine, and we check once more before they leave. But it's SO easy for BPs to drop at the drop of a hat.

Glad you were there for the old lady!!
