When Sophie was a wee pup, I moved into a garden apartment where she was able to walk freely in the enclosed backyard. She was learning to be protective, barked at the fence line and the neighbor also turned the hose on her. I went out and told him, "don't ever do that again to my dog".
She was always scared of the sprinkler/hose after that episode, and I think people are such morons to empower themselves in that manner.
How uncomfortable you must feel to even go outside yourself.
PS Months later the moron wanted to know if I would go out with him. My reply - NO He moved and we were grateful.
