i have found that feeding more dry food instead of canned produces firmer stools. i think it might help the empty them on their own. i recently added canned food (only to give medication) and i have found that my yorkies seem to have their anal glands emptied sooner than before we introduced the canned food. and they only have super small amounts of the canned. |
