I freaked out tonight when I saw one of Venus's litter boxes. She'd pooped, with a litttle blood in it, and then beside the litter box was a yucky watery really stinky mess....sorry if thats TMI.

Of course, first thing I had to do was clean the mess on the floor. WAs really gross (I never had children, so didn't do the diaper thing).

I packed up the pee pad in a white garbage bag in case I needed to take her to the vet.

Called neices friend who's a vet tech. She asked questions....and yea, there was a new treat I did give both them today. Not much at all, but they did get a small piece apiece.

She told me to give 1/2 cc of Pepto Bismal, so ran to the store to get some. She also said take food and water from them and give it to both dogs just in case.

I dunno about Adonis, cause he goes outside, and its been raining all afternoon.

She seems to be feeling ok. But what a mess. When I got through cleaning that up, noticed she'd also been on my bed, and made one there too. Ok, stripped beds...

I hope this was just the treat doing it. If not, I have no clue. Venus is almost a year old, had all her shots back in Sept 06. Never been sick before.

Hope this is over with tomorrow. If not, to the vet with both!
