I have a front carrier that I tried but I found that miserably uncomfortable for me. Hallie is content in anything as long as her feet aren't having to move.

We use a regular baby front carrier and Mitzi loves to just sit in it and watch the world go by, even on bike rides. I also custom make front carriers so maybe if you told me what it was that made you uncomfortable with the one you have we can solve this problem.
