Can someone tell me how to use this thing. Extra thread? Do I thread it trhough the same way as the regular thread? etc.

Hi Misty

Double needle machines/stitches do not have a zig-zag, that is a cover stitch machine that is mainly used on knits. If you look at the hem of any t-shirt, you will see a zig-zag stitch on the inside only, a cover stitch machine was used. Double needle machines do not create a zig-zag, just two perfect single needle rows of stitching inside and out mainly used on woven/denim fabric. I am assuming you do not have a instruction manual, double needle machines do require double threading, and usually a heavier thread depending on what you are sewing…

I am used to industrial machines, so I have no idea what is in the "regular" market right now..............
