You mentioned earlier about her rubbing her head on the couch or blanket. I think that what you are reading about is head pressing and this doesn't sound like head pressing to me just normal behavior. Regardless, you should have her tested for Liver Shunt since every Yorkie should be. Have them do a bile acid test though not a blood test. A blood test can miss it whereas a bile acid test is more definitive and fairly cheap (I paid $45 last time).

As for monitoring her, ask your vet what to watch out for.
