I feel so bad for you and I hope that you can work something out with her. I had the same thing happen to me, but I understood that when I agreed to puppysit that he would be leaving. I had him for 6 months, and fell deeply in love with him but I knew that I couldn't keep him. Also, I knew that he was going back to a VERY loving home. These little ones can bring so much support and love to someone who has lost a loved one. Hopefully you have a good relationship with her and she will work something out with you. You're both at a loss right now.
