That sounds like a good idea. Both of my babies, 3yrs and 11 months, are potty trained to go on pads. They know how to go outside too, but they will potty on their pads in the house. I have one in the laundry room and one in the master bathroom. That way, if we have guests, they don't have to see pads all over the house and the pads are out of the way and not really visible. We can't use the balcony because here in Florida it's soooo hot, I can't leave that door cracked. If they have to potty when we're not home and the door is closed, that wouldn't be good. LOL
