The yellow stuff is stomach bile. I would keep a close eye on him today. If he continues to throw up or if he doen't go poop, then I would go to the Vet asap. If he ate the sponge, a piece could swell up inside him and cause a blockage. Not to scare you, but def. keep him under your close eye for the next day and then go from there
