I am just curious if there are any "unwritten" rules or faux pas for the YT gift exchange? Or stories of..."was my face red!" I will be sending my donation soon (after payday), and have considered joining the gift exchange.

Also, I like to do crafts. Is making or creating some of the gifts by hand a no-no or is that welcome?
