I have an allergy yorkie and the dermatologist said that allergies occur in dogs from 6 mos to 3 years old. So my next yorkie will be adopted at 3 years of age
as my girl is 3 and has had severe allergies since she was 6mos old
It is horrible watching them suffer - she is now on atopica as she has atopic dermatitis which is basically airborn allergies. I tried everything - holistic vet, food elimination diets, you name it and finally i figured i had to do the drugs which i hate but nothing was working and she was miserable. We tried every antihistamine benedryl, chlora...., etc nothing worked - poor thing
she is doing better but no cured
