The usual dose is .5 to 2mg per pound. There is 12.5mg in 5cc (1teaspoon) of Childrens benadryl. Thats 2.5mg per 1cc.

If I need, it I go with 1mg per pound. So I would give a 5 pound dog 2cc. Of course always check with your vet for the best advise.
