I read in a yorkie book to feed 1 tablespoon of dry food for every pound the dog weighs twice a day. For example: 4 pound dog gets 4 tablespoons of food twice a day. This equals a 1/2 cup of food per day. This is a good starting point you can adjust as needed for your dogs needs.
