I personally think she resembles the breed beautifully and her breeder even said she has great coloring. But why all these comments from EVERYONE and their mother?
We get comments all the time that she is big, that why didn't we get a teacup yorkie, that smaller is better. Someone told us she just HAD to be a silky because all yorkies are small (like 4 lbs).
I have even avoided going to our local yorkie group because one woman insisted on referring to her as a tank (her yorkie was under 3lbs).
What do you think? I'm not sure on her weight right now, but her parents were both 5 and 6 lbs and the vet said she should get 6lbs. I know size small clothing is too big and the Xs fits, but is just a little too snug to be comfy and she is 8 months old.

Ignore them and DO GO to the next meet-up! Yorkies comes in all different sizes and colors and just because one is a tiny doesn't make them better or prettier or smarter than a larger pup.
The rude comments are made by ignorant people or it's a way for them to get your attention so they can admire and pet your baby. Let's just call it a Yorkie Pick-up Line! If you feel you need to say anything to them just tell them she is well within the AKC standard which is 7 pound or less and start telling them how smart and sweet your little pumpkin is!
I have a 9 pounder - And I am so proud of her and love to show her off! I get comments about her size all the time and I just smile and say "lucky me! I have more to Love"!
