I don't think I've ever posted in this thread, but I've followed it all along.
Just wanted to let you know that I am one of the many on here who's father has allready passed away. Mine in 1989. My dad was a long distance truck driver like you, Papi and like you he only completed the 10th grade in school, he had to quit school to help on his family farm in Iowa because his dad left to run around with another woman. My husband is a local truck driver for Miller Beer.
I don't think I ever posted because you all were on a "roll" with what you all wanted to accomplish and I really didn't have anything to add. I so applaud all of you who had any part in getting Patticake to Papi. That was so unbelievabely kind and self less of you's.
I don't think it really matters in life what "title" you have had or not. What I think matters is if you are a "good" person. And Papi, you are a very good person.
