I'm so saorry your Grey plucks. Ivan is a baby... a HUGE baby, did the vet have any suggestions as what to do? I know they have very complex personalities and that they will pick if they are having a problem... maybe he needs more time out of the cage? I was really worried abt the pluckung so I got Bobbie Brinker's book on Greys and read about how to avoid it. One of the things she says is to make sure you are rotating their toys so they are never bored. A lot of behavioral probs with Greys start out of boredom, so I buy him a new toy a month and have a whole box and rotate them out weekly. Does your talk? Ivan has started since he is approaching a year...he's been a chatterbox since 6 months, but he's finally starting to put things together! It cracks me up!
