Last month, I only had one tube of Frontline Plus left so I split it between 3.4# Carter and 1.6# Cooper. I found that they were scratching before the month was over but could never find fleas so I don't know if it was my imagination or if I'm just blind as a bat!
This month, I put a full tube on each. Cooper was weighed today and is still 1.6#. Besides having his flea med, he had his last booster, his rabies shot, the 2nd round of bordetella and his heartworm pill (inteceptor). He's been fine all day - not even an increase in the amount of sleep.
The key is to get the Frontline onto the skin as much as possible so that it gets into their system.
You should do fine.
