Whenever you scale teeth, you leave tiny little scratches that will allow plaque and bacteria to build up even faster.... You need to polish thoroughly after scaling to buff those scratches out. Does she polish afterwards?
If vets felt they could do a good enough job without anesthesia, they would... But to really get 'em clean the proper way, I don't think you have a choice but to put them under. |
