not sure about it, though:
I asked the same question to a local vet, not our regular vet. I was in buying the flea/tick preventive. She said to only use "soapless" shampoo or I was just wasting my time applying the preventive--no matter how long before or after a bath.

Has anyone heard this?

My get a bath once a week and I use a variety of "doggie" shampoos--I got a lot of samples through the mail and like trying out the different ones. I may be washing it off....
