Emmy and Oscar have the kitchen and family room when we are gone...but when we are home they are also allowed in the bedroom. Emmy used to have free roam of the bedroom before Oscar came into our lives. He runs up the stairs to the bed, but does not know how to get down--I am afraid he will fall off the bed. Therefore, I close off the bedroom when we are gone now.
