Is Dexter eating and drinking yet? Remember they are so small they don't eat much. Do you have the same dog food the breeder had him on? I would add a little sugar or Karo syrup to his water, just to be sure his blood sugar stays up while he's adjusting to his new home. The fact that he peed and pooped and is running around is all good signs. They do sleep a lot at that age too...which also is good to conserve his energy. But you should be able to wake him up easily...but if he continues to be lethargic, it is most definitely his sugar, rub a little Karo in his mouth...it doesn't take much, but if he's not eating, you may have to do it frequently.
Oh yeah...congrats on the new pup, welcome to YT and good luck...enjoy!!!
