I don't think Scrapindee meant any offense by her comment. She offered the advice and info that she had from her experience, and asked an honest question about your experience with your possible future stud.
I unfortunately have no wisdom to offer you, but wanted to commend your efforts of thinking things through before studding your little one. Good luck with figuring it all out!
