[Gracie2006]

My vet said wait until the 16 week shots before taking Gracie anywhere other dogs have been. I did not listen. I had her at the park at 8 weeks. I kept her on the gravel walking paths and off the grass. I would not let her read the pee mail. If she wanted to meet another dog, I asked the owner if the dog was current on vaccines and if yes, then I would let Gracie and the other dog sniff each other. I was very protective. I am glad I did this from the get go. She is now a very social, happy and well adjusted dog. She loves all dogs and all people as well!
