I think I had a great idea....getting him a little rug of his own. Maybe from Walmart or Target? So he can have a little spot of carpet that's all his. If he goes potty on it, I can just wash it. Or if he feels like scratching it, we won't be all worried about it. Plus, if I do have to replace it, it would be cheap. Oh, and I'll pick a color totally different to anything we have in this house so that he can tell his rug apart from others.
How does that sound? I'm trying to think like a yorkie, but I'm new to this.
