 Don't want to sound like an idiot but what
are "hostas" and why are they so damn important that your neighbors had to trespass on your property. I would sue them in small claims, I am a certified paralegal here in SoCal and you definitely have an air tight case. I know that it will not bring your baby back, but at least you would have the funds to replace her when you are ready. I also think that you could get punative damages in a case like this, since the people deliberately trespassed on your property. So sorry to hear of your loss, but I would definitely seek financial redress since it is too late for the puppy. Sometimes the only things/lessons that hit home with people are ones that cost them money. |
