Wylie (3 yr old) wears his collar 24/7. Marcel (6 mths and tiny) wears his at all times except when he's home alone (he MUST have a bell too bc he is so small).
IF fitted properly, collars/tags can be a lifesaver - but you really have to fit them properly AND/OR take them off at unsafe times (crating, home alone etc.).
Of course, collars are for id/bell purposes only - not leashing!
