[Mia and Wickett]

Sorry to be asking so many questions....

Most of our house is tile, except for our bedroom. Wickett will watch us closely, and the minute he sees the bedroom door open, he'll run in and pee on the carpet. He'll then relocate and rub himself all over it. He does this in the area rug in the bathroom too. He also likes scratching at the carpet.

Is this his way of marking his territory? Would getting some sort of scratch rug for pets help out his need to have "rug time"? Since he just got him, I want to make sure to nip the bad behaviors in the bud right away, before they become habitual.
