I would say that he is good to go now if he has his kennel cough vaccine. I think Kobi went at about 12 weeks, and while he didn't enjoy it, he did live
If he doesn't have the vaccine, then I would say wait till that takes effect, and then you're good to go. And be sure to post pics after you get him groomed
