Gosh I dont know....I bet you were scared to death tho....DId you pick him up and rub his throat? Thats what I have to do for Bella. I have never heard of it happening in sleep tho. Bella does it when she gets excited. Ihope your baby is fine and someone can give you some good advice and ease your mind! Please keep us posted!
