I don't think it takes away their personality at all! The first few days they may feel bad but after that they get back to normal. The advantage is that you don't have a dog trying to run off and mate every time they catch a scent! Most dogs calm down as they get older and some people might mistake this as being from neutering but I think it is all just part of growing up. My son had his dog neutered after he was over a yr old and his personality has not changed at all. |
