I have to use scotch tape and tape down the corners. I actually have to go through quite a process because he goes under this counter in our kitchen and lifts his leg, so I tape a large washable pad that goes up each side (wall/cabinet) otherwise he pees on the wall and it gets under the pad. then I tape down on each corner a regular potty pad on top where the majority of his pee goes. Hard to explain but regardless, it has to be taped down because otherwise he will kick his back legs around and the pad will scoot and get all messed up. If that happens then he thinks it's not his potty pad anymore, but something fun to carry off into the living room and play with.
