Hi there Joy 1 - Deegan's mom here. I just recently became a newbie on the site too. I have had my little furbaby for 10 days now and things have been wonderful - I now have a perma smile!
So your baby will be about 7 weeks old when you get him/her? Just try and be patient. Remeber good things come to those who wait. Because the you don't want to get the puppy too soon, it's best to be with mum at least 'til they are 7-8 weeks.
Then you can have all the fun you want, which includes spending all your money on them like me. I've been shopping like crazy for my little guy. Custom dishes, bandana's, little t-shirts, toys, a bicycle basket (it looks cooler than it sounds), a puppy purse and today I bought a car booster seat for him so that he is at the height of the window while we are driving!! It's so cute, but my boyfriend thinks I am a loser now. Oh well - Since I'm not having any kids I have to spoil my furbaby, right?
