I use stainless steel with the rubber on the bottom. I have a plastic bowl with two sections for water and food that I use for when Im traveling or when I leave him with someone else. I like it because it is easier and lightweight. He mostly uses the stainless steel ones. I wanted ceramic, but just didnt find any that I liked...because you know it has to coordinate with my home decor!
