She had runny stools and I noticed some long slivers in her poop. They weren't as thick as "spagetti", but looked more like thrread (?). Anyone had this problem before? (I dropped this sample off at the vet too.)
I'm so paranoid right now...I don't want to see her feeling so miserable.   |
Tapeworms!
My Stormy had Tapeworms 4 weeks ago.
I saw it in her stool, brought it to the Vet.
Vet gave her 1/2 pill of a Tapeworm dewormer.
& also gave her another dose this week.
I also noticed She wasn't gaining any weight at the time either.
They get it from ingesting a flea 3 wks earlier.
I had just got her from the breeder 1 wk before this.
Stormy seems to be OK now - she is gaining a little weight now.
Your FUrBaby should be fine - Just follow your Vet instructions.
Clean with Bleach solution.
