Ellie has ceramic dishes. She used to use plastic and then a stainless steel water dish with the rubber ring on the bottom. That was a headache. That water dish also got a "water line" where I always filled it to and it was a different texture then the rest of the bowl and that bothered me because I don't know why it would do that. I am all for ceramic but then again I had no idea that dogs could be allergic to it.
