ok, we moved into this house march 1st...we were told ( and on the sellers disclosure) electric was ok, plumbing was ok, except the basement sink leaked a little ...a little!! ive been mopping the basement floor everytime i did dishes because it flooded down there, and we were told the breaker box needed to be update......ugggggggggg
so now I had the $$ to get it all fixed....
plumber came this morning, was here all day..( so far we are at $2,000).went down there ohhh it looks so nice with all new pvc pipe etc etc..and I can finally do laundry here and not the laundromat.......turn on the water he says lets see if we have any leaks..............

black gook pouring out of the pipe he put a top on that wasnt needed from where they took out the sink................................
my heart dropped i began to feel sick..................i knew this wasnt good........
ok so now we have them coming back to use a jet vac i think he called it...to put down the pipes and push to the bigger pipe and push air in there to get out whatever ( if any) thing is in there making it do this..... thats $500
if that doesnt work, " it must be a broken pipe under the basement floor)
i got that estimate.....for breaking up the cement floor to get at a broken pipe ( it might be)and replace with pvc.............$5,000!!!!!! on top of the 2,000 and the 500.................I lost it,,,,,I left.....needed some air........
so the money I came to get from my mom, is going fast................so much for my van i was going to get from my brother ( didnt tell him i cant get it yet)
and still have the electric to be fixed monday which i got an estimate of 1,550
lets hope that stays at 1,550..............the breaker box needs to be updated ..its ancient and not safe.............. well it is now 12:54 and all i can do is cry, not even tired....so I needed to vent..............
but hey hubby got his motorcycle ..............................
