 syringe feed
Daisi was sick and would not eat. The vet gave me some canned food that ws easily slurped up in to a syringe. I fed her by squirting a little bit at a time into her mouth. You could call the vet and ask about that? or try making some canned food really soft put it on a spooon and into her mouth. If you have a syring try squirting a little into her mouth. If she is too sick to swallow I'd take her to the vet right away. I also think karo syrup is better than honey. Honey can contain boctulism. Drs warn against giving it to babies. I would put the syrupon m finger and rub it into her mouth. |
