I've been using the tiny (only goes to 1/2 a CC) syringe that the vet gave me for pain meds to squirt water in her mouth. She will take about 2 syringes (1 CC) and then give up...then she'll do it again in about 30 minutes. So, technically she is drinking, but it's really nothing.
I tried the honey again with no luck. I tried a little sugar, but with the amount of water she's taking there's not really any sugar going into her anyway.
I tried chicken, but she won't take that either.
I gave her all the hugs that were sent & lots of kisses
She DID take those
I know she's in a lot of pain, but they told me I can't give her any meds until breakfast in the AM.
