Winston is home...and hungry...I can not believe he has been there all day and they were not able to run the insulin levels because his sugar wouldn't go below 60. I'm getting frustrated, but he's happy to be home. They said it would be 1-4 days to get the bile acid test back that they did yesterday. But I'm pretty sure I'll be trying to find a specialist in my area...for a consultation...just to see what another vet might say is causing this. I'm not sure what kind of specialist, endocrinologist for the hypoglycemia or a neurologist for the seizures...
I do want to take this time to thank everybody for the thoughts and prayers, but it's not over, as I still have no answers...Maybe I need you to pray that I find the right vet!!! I don't even know where to start looking. My groomer gave me a couple names and numbers for vets she has used in the past...she even told me I could tell them that she recommended them to me...I thought that was nice of her to offer help. I wish there was some type of university hospital close by, I may need to drive aways. We'll see...how the bile acid test comes back anyway. And I'll let you all know, as I know it. Thanks again!!!
