i had my tonsils out when i was little... as long as they don't react badly to the ansethesia... they will be fine.. just lots of drinking and jello and freezies!!! i think they just tell you two weeks... as soon as they feel better ... two or three days... they can be back to normal... i remember my throat being VERY sore.. but not for longer than a day or two.
