I bought a holder for a pee pad at Petsmart..... and it is made to keep them from tearing them up..... I got it because my Samson will stand over his pad and still pee on the floor because he doesn't wait to get his entire body over the pad ... and it works for that... it is called a Premium Pad Training Tray and is made by Iris.... very neat... it is made sort of like a picture frame .... and clamps down on the pad to hold it in place... ]
