OMG...how awful for her! But how wonderful that she DID delete that email and DIDN'T go over there! Oh cripes..can you imagine how much worse she'd feel right now??? Just keep telling her it's not her fault. We always want to blame ourselves, but I had an ex bf who, after he'd broken up with me 3 different times and kept coming back, actually threatened to kill himself if I wouldn't take him back and I knew I'd feel TERRIBLE if he did do that, but I thought about the way he'd always treated me and knew I didnt' want to live that way, and if he was going to kill himself, then there was nothing I could do to stop him. Luckily, he wasn't quite that unbalanced, but I can imagine how your friend is feeling. There wasn't anything she could do to stop him from his lack of self-respect and respect for those he supposedly loved. Thank goodness she's got spiritual support and good friends who care about her!
