This normally is a pretty good formula for guesstimating the end weight. The only thing is you can't really estimate what they should gain on a weekly basis. It depends on how they eat and you never know you can just get a growth spurt. Plus you can always get that throw back gene where they get way bigger than the estimate.
When I got Lex the formula figured in at about 6 lbs for him. Well big boy was 9 1/2lbs at a year so go figure...lol.
